Keep in mind that a Cuban five star resort is not up to the standards of five star hotels in other parts of the world.

This Cuban all inclusive is an adults only resort. 

Travelers loved:

• the gorgeous Caribbean beach with soft white sand and blue waters (there are some rocks in the water here),  
• the friendly staff,
• the scenery which is lush and tropical, 
• included diving,

For water lovers the Sol Rio has two swimming pools, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, and snorkeling.  There are two buffet-style restaurants, a Mediterranean restaurant, an Italian restaurant that gets very high reviews, a Cuban restaurant and several bars.

Guests most enjoyed the the clean Breezes Cuba resort, the great beach (but not as fine white sand as other areas of Cuba), the friendly staff, great snorkeling, the relaxing (non-party) atmosphere, the beautiful scenery (surrounded by mountains), and the Cuban National Circus show.  Most travelers felt Breezes Cuba was dated.

In Cuba resort reviews travelers loved the pools, the gorgeous beach (with no vendors), the friendly service, the snorkeling, the quiet relaxed atmosphere (with no partying), the beach drink service, that the resort is a good value for what you pay, that the resort is better maintained than many Cuban resorts, and the fantastic concierge service in the bungalows.

Some travelers didn't like how isolated the resort was with very few options for getting outside of the resort - mostly just packaged tours as there is no taxi service to the resort.
